Soon we will be traveling in Russia

  1.    On March 4th to 28th we will be travelling to Russia to visit 6 places, Moscow, Sochi, Rostov, Krasnoarmisk, Blagoveschensk and Tynda.   In Moscow we were expecting to have another youth conference but that was cancelled a few weeks ago.  However Mikhail Kindruk and Alexeyei were on hand to make other arrangements.   We are delighted to have the opportunity to vist Tynda again, on this occasion to celebrate the wedding of Olga Troukhina, who helped us so much after we started to visiting Russia 15 years ago.    Two churches in Blago want us to take seminars again because they are longing for more revelation of God's love and the healing of their hearts.

March 15th - Krasnoarmisk,

Recent Testimonies

Participants of a recent Fathers Love School in Bath were asked,

"What has the Father done in your heart during the week?"

and here are some of the responses....

  • "I have found my spiritual daddy"
  • "I believe the Father imparted acceptance, affirmation and love into my heart."
  • "This was a ground breaking week for me, I believe a physical healing occurred in my back and neck when I prayed the forgiveness prayer."
  • "God softened my heart and I felt love in a way I hadn't before."
  • "He restored my ability to love myself."

December 2009 Update

Thank you so much for standing with us on our recent travels and events in which we have been involved.   The Philippines trip was so good.  We knew constantly the protection of the Father and His angels.  There were a number of situations which did not look good, especially the lengthy travel across still flooded parts of the nation, plus driving to Baguio City along the mountain road that had been devastated by landslides, then the arrival of another typhoon when we were in Mindanao and needed to fly back to Manila.  Most internal flights had been cancelled that day and the news announced our flight had been also.  Nevertheless we went to the airport and waited for a couple of hours after which they announced we could check in and the flight would be operational…and although bumpy in places we knew an incredible peace as we sheltered under the wing of Him who is so powerful to protect.

The highlights of the trip were spending time with students and graduates in Camiling.  They are so responsive and willing to acknowledge the stuff that has damaged their ability to receive God as a Father.    Our visit to Isabela province with a group of  leaders was also really productive.   Having undertaken the journey up the mountain to Baguio City, we were surprised how eager the people were to have us stay in spite of having only just finished cleaning houses and church buildings of mud.  Our time in Dapitan City was taken up with 3 day seminar which included one evening when we were hosted at a banquet by the Mayor of Dipolog and her husband.  What an experience, especially for me when I took a mouthful of what I thought was guacomole but turned out to be wasabi ( hotter by far than English mustard).   The team were amazing and fitted in so well, developing a great teaching style as they ministered on God’s plan to prosper His children and what had to change in order for it to happen.

Since then we have shared a weekend with Chester and Betsy Kylstra in Bournemouth at House of Destiny Church; then had a great week at Bath City Church doing a Revelation of the Father’s Love school.  Gordon Harris from TACF in Toronto joined us.  We love his style and the revelation that he brings.  We so appreciated the prayer ministry team including 3 from Amsterdam.

As ever we try to take teams everywhere we go….  And there is a special joy in seeing young people released to share, teach, hear from God, bring prophetic words and pray powerfully for people.   We love it so much and remain so grateful to the Father for His kindness to us  in giving us so many pray-ers  who tangibly make a difference to all we do.  Thanks so much for your part in it all.

September '09 Update

We returned from Uganda more aware than ever of the need we have of protection from heaven, and especially the prayers of those who faithfully call down the blessing of the Father on us.

The first week in Namuwongo, near Kampala, went really well.  It was intended to limit the numbers to 100 but by Tuesday 147 had signed up.  There were pastors from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and DRC.  Their responses were amazing; really quiet during the presentation of the teaching but then in the prayer ministry time a lot of real encounters with the Father took place.   There were a number of situations relating to relationships amongst the leaders which were gloriously resolved during the week. We seem to forget so easily the miraculous nature of what God loves to do in our hearts when we choose to open up to Him.

We loved visiting Wellspring Church on the Sunday and had great fellowship with the local pastors and leaders.  It was so good to see the team that is gathering and its established core value of the Father’s Love.

The following week we moved on to Mukono about 10 miles further away from Kampala.  We were taken about 16 miles into the bush to a retreat centre where a group of Anglicans including vicars, lay readers and intercessors gathered.  Little did we realise, as we travelled back to the hotel on the Thursday evening that riots were taking place in the town.  Eventually after being driven around some back roads, the minibus took shelter behind some buildings because there were crowds of people screaming, shouting and running in an attempt to get away from the security forces who were firing rifles and tear gas grenades.   After about 10 minutes the pastor said we should all get out and walk the 100 metres to the main road and across it to the hotel, which the team did.  We were shocked to see the main road looking like a war film; tyres burning in the road, smoke and tear gas hanging heavily, stones and debris littering the highway, no people at all except the security forces some 50 m away.  We ran across the road into the hotel and the gates were locked behind us.  Later from the 4th  floor we watched the riot police chasing people in the streets around the hotel.  There were constant fusillades of rifle fire and the loud popping of the tear gas grenades.   So on advice from the British High Commission and our Ugandan friends we stayed at the hotel for the next 2 days until the situation calmed down.    Thanks to many praying friends, the situation which was forecast to get much worse (over 20 people died in the 2 days), actually calmed down and normal life resumed after 3 days.  It was disappointing not to finish the school although we heard that they had testimonies in our absence.  The testimonies centred around revelation of the effect that their childhood experience had had on their lives and their relationship with God, and secondly how they were currently treating their own children.  One man said he was going home to repent to his children for the things he had done to them.

It was disappointing not to get to Mbalala for the last weekend.  However we were so aware of His presence and the direction of the Holy Spirit as we prayed each day.  Friends came to the hotel and wanted to plan for next year!!!   The team were amazingly unfazed by the situation.   We continue to honour the Father for His care over us and His hand on the sessions which produced so much good fruit.

August ‘09 Newsletter

We had a great time in Amsterdam in July with the team from the School of Ministry in Toronto.   Our friends in God’s Embassy Church looked after the whole 2 weeks brilliantly.   We had lots of fun with their team and had over 100 registered for the 1st week and over 50 for the 2nd week of training.   The 2 weeks were so overwhelmingly filled with the presence of God.  There were lots of tears and laughter, sometimes what looked like both simultaneously.   The testimonies at the end of each week were  powerful reminders of the Father’s ability to take the most damaged heart and begin a process of astounding healing.  At the end of the 2 weeks we were both very tired but so refreshed as well by His presence.
